Nicolas and Myada Baudry are husband and wife, owners of Treehouse Experts, and visionaries of HTR. It all began with their company, Treehouse Experts, a treehouse design and construction company. After building treehouses for clients throughout the U.S. and internationally, their own adventure began to unfold. When they discovered 25 acres of untamed forest, they saw more than land—they saw possibility. They built a treehouse for their family, as a place to unwind and appreciate their very own treehouse escape. It was not long after that they realized it was the ideal time and place to embark on a new journey, one that had always been in the back of their minds. With their talented Treehouse Experts crew, they added 4 more treehouses on the property. Every beam, curve, and suspended net reflects their passion—not just for building, but for creating spaces that invite others to pause, breathe, and fall in love with the forest. Their retreat is more than a getaway; it is a living story of vision, romance, and the joy of building dreams among the treetops.
HTR is unique because we offer authentic treehouses that are truly suspended in and supported by trees. After being in this industry for over a decade, we have realized that the vacation experience of sleeping in a suspended treehouse is extremely rare. We are proud to merge our expertise of treehouse building with hospitality. Our goal at HTR is to bring individuals closer to nature without sacrificing the comfort of a relaxing vacation. Our talented crew has traveled throughout the U.S., and even abroad, building unique treetop structures for residential and commercial clients.
After a long search for the perfect place—one with lush forest, mountain views, and true seclusion—we discovered this hidden property, overlooked by others who couldn’t see its promise. With vision, grit, and a lot of courage, we embraced the challenge of transforming raw, untamed land into a serene haven among the trees.
We built the first treehouse, The Hylo, as a place for our family to escape. But, it didn’t take long for us to realize that this slice of heaven was too special to keep to ourselves.
The addition for 4 more treehouses all at once was no easy feat. But, with a stellar and hard-working crew, we were able to complete the build in less than 6 months.
We created HTR with a mission to provide you with more than just a vacation — we want to give you an experience that grounds you closer to the earth while lifting you high above it, offering peace and perspective you won’t find anywhere else.
